Thirty years of experience.
My father was a plasterer. Now I’ve been doing it for thirty years.
My father taught me all the traditional methods for different finishes and textures on walls, ceilings and exteriors. I also learned how to do the ornate decorative work used in historic buildings. Now, repair work on those surfaces is an art in itself. There aren’t many plasterers left who know how to do it right. But because of my father, I do.
Just as importantly, I’ve learned all the high tech methods for new synthetic products. These offer a wide variety of finishes and colors. Like traditional plaster, it’s difficult to make repair work match correctly. But because I keep up with all the latest developments, I know how to do that also.
Now, my son is working with me. The third generation of Johnson family plastering!
